BASIC TROUBLE SHOOTING

​Is the Picaxe switched on?

Is the download cable plugged in the correct way (using blue and black dot on breadboard) and fully inserted into the breadboard?

Are you using the correct (same) USB port as it was installed on?

Have you typed the program correctly? Look at commas, hashtags etc.

SOMETIMES it is best to start off with the Picaxe turned off and then press the F5 key for 3 seconds before turning the Picaxe on. (This is a hard boot.)

Try another board and/or another cable to work out where the problem lies.

Check if the batteries need replacing.
